Everything you need to know about Teak Decking.
Botanical Name: Tectona grandis
Common Name: Teak
General Characteristics: Color varies from a yellow brown to dark golden brown, darkening with age. Course, uneven texture with straight grain and oily feel.
Moisture Content of Decking: Our Teak Decking is specially dried for use on exterior projects.
We also sell Teak lumber kiln dried specifically for interior use. DO NOT use kiln dried interior lumber in exterior projects as it will expand. Teak Decking dried for exterior use will shrink inside.

Distribution: Asia, Africa, Latin America
Durability: Teak is very durable, especially when harvested from older trees. Naturally resists rot, mold, mildew, and insects.
Uses: Outdoor Decking, flooring, boat building, furniture, decorative objects
