We collect information from you when you subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, or fill out a form. Also, with every page view, we collect your IP address via an automated process. These IP addresses are anonymously pooled to gather data that allows us to better manage our site.
We also collect referrer info which allows us to see which search engines are sending us the most visitors. This information is critical and keeps out site running in the most optimal way possible.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one or more of the following ways:
We do not view unique user IP addresses. They are pooled together to indicate how many users viewed which pages, how much time they spent on the site, etc. We do not employ technologies or procedures that identify people via IP address. We do not employ the use of web bugs or tracking cookies.
In compliance with California’s Online Privacy Protection Act and the federally mandated Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we must inform you of any third party services that we employ which also handle a user’s personal data and information. We currently employ Google through their Google Analytics program to monitor, track, and report the overall performance of our website and how it is being used by visitors. Our company does not view unique user IP addresses. Google Analytics will pool these IP addresses together and set cookies on users’ machines to indicate how many users viewed which pages, how much time they spent on the site, etc. View the Google Analytics privacy policy here: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
You can request to change personal information by simply calling or emailing us.
We do use cookies. We use them to keep an anonymous record of your visit via Google Analytics.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety.
Because we value your privacy, we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act by informing you through this privacy policy of the specific information we collect, how that information is used and/or shared, and how users can contact us. We also comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act by clearly identifying a link to this privacy policy page on our homepage. All users can modify their information by contacting us via email or phone.
