Decking Species Available For Wholesale
Appearance: Heartwood tends to be a golden or medium brown, with color darkening with age. Grain is straight, though it can occasionally be wavy or interlocked. Coarse, uneven texture and moderate to low natural luster. Raw, unfinished wood surfaces have a slightly oily or greasy feel due to natural oils.
Hardness: 1070
Bending Strength: 14,080 lbf/in2 (97.1 MPa)
Benefits: Low maintenance. Grown in plantations to protect the environment and prevent deforestation.
Appearance: Ipe heartwood is olive-brown with lighter or darker streaks. Grain is straight to irregular with a low to medium luster. The pores appear as fine yellow dots and contain yellowish lapachol powder which turns deep red in alkaline solutions. Texture is fine and appears oily. Fine ripple marks may be present. Ipe has a fine-medium texture, with the grain varying from straight to irregular or interlocked with a moderate natural luster.

Bending Strength: 25,660 lbf/in2 (177.0 MPa)
Benefits: Low maintenance. Highest rating for insect (termite) & decay resistance. Proven lifespan of 75+ years.
Appearance: Heartwood tends to be a medium to dark brown, sometimes with a reddish or purplish hue; some pieces may have streaks of yellowish or greenish brown. Grain is interlocked, with a medium texture and a waxy feel. Endgrain: Diffuse-porous; solitary and radial multiples; large pores in no specific arrangement, few; heartwood mineral/gum deposits present; parenchyma lozenge, aliform, confluent, and sometimes marginal; narrow rays, spacing fairly close.

Benefits: Low maintenance. Extremely durable. Naturally resistant to decay. Offers 50+ year lifespan.
Appearance: Tigerwood heartwood ranges from reddish-brown to dark brown with irregular black streaks. It has a fine to medium texture and a variable grain pattern, which can be straight, interlocked, or wavy. The wood has a high natural luster and a smooth surface.

Bending Strength: 25,600 lbf/in2 (176.6 MPa)
Benefits: Low maintenance and naturally durable. Offers 30+ year lifespan.
Appearance: Brazilian Redwood heartwood ranges from reddish-brown to dark red. It has a straight to interlocked grain and a fine to medium texture. The wood has a high natural luster and a smooth surface.

Bending Strength: 24,800 lbf/in2 (171.0 MPa)

Appearance: Red Balau (Mahogany) heartwood ranges from reddish-brown to purplish-brown. It has a straight to interlocked grain and a coarse texture. The wood has a moderate natural luster.

Appearance: Golden Mahogany™ (Yellow Balau) heartwood ranges from yellow-brown to golden-brown. It has a straight to interlocked grain and a coarse texture. The wood has a moderate natural luster.

Appearance: Garapa heartwood ranges from yellow to golden brown. It has a fine to medium texture with a straight to interlocked grain. The wood has a natural luster and a smooth surface.

Bending Strength: 17,400 lbf/in2 (120.0 MPa)
Benefits: Durable and naturally resistant to rot, decay, and splinters without any chemical treatments. Offers 30+ year lifespan.

Tatajuba Decking
A stunning golden tropical hardwood from Brazil. This hardwood starts out light yellow and turns a deep gold/russet color when exposed to sunlight. With a Janka hardness rating of 2220, Tatajuba is naturally resists termites, mold, and fungus. Tatajuba is almost twice as hard as Teak and has a natural resistance to insects, mold and fungus.
Sucupira Decking
Very popular in Europe, Sucupira is featured in many high-end flooring and decking applications. Sucupira is going to impress the even the most picky clients. An extremely durable Brazilian hardwood, Sucupira has a Janka rating of 2700 and tan to dark brown color tones with varying black streaks. As with all the wholesale decking that is offered, Sucupira features natural resistance to insects, mold, fungus and decay.
Angelim Vermelho Decking
This hardwood has a great reputation across the world and is used in many applications that call for durability and resilience. Engineers choose Angelim Vermelho for use in bridges, flooring, decking, posts, ship building, thanks to its high strength and mechanical properties. With a Janka rating of 1460, the high density levels contribute to the wood’s natural resistance to insects, mold, and decay.
