Anigre heartwood ranges from pale yellow to light brown. It often features a silvery sheen and may exhibit a golden shimmer under certain lighting conditions. The grain is typically straight, but it can also be interlocked or wavy. The wood has a medium to coarse texture with a lustrous appearance.
